The Mazda6 is a mid-size sedan that blends sleek looks and agile responses with a spacious cabin and a compliant ride. In contrast to the previous generation, the Mazda6 may not be the leader for sheer performance anymore, but it is definitely one of the most balanced entries in its class. The front-wheel-drive Mazda6 offers a choice of a base 2.5-liter 4-cylinder mated to either manual or automatic transmissions and a strong 3.7-liter V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic. Changes for 2010
For 2010, the Mazda6's standard equipment and trims are rearranged. While 6s Sport and Touring trims are no longer available, 6i Touring models get an in-dash 6-disc changer but delete keyless entry and the alarm system. A new 6i Touring Plus trim includes a power moonroof, Bluetooth hands-free phone, and blind spot monitor system. Grand Touring trims also add the power moonroof, as well as a Bose 6-disc audio system but delete the auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, heated auto-dimming mirrors, keyless entry, driver's seat memory and power passenger seat, and Xenon headlights, which are now bundled in the Technology package. In addition, carpeted floor mats are now standard across the lineup. The 2010 Mazda Mazda6 Sedan is available in 7 trim levels.
