2017 Hyundai Tucson
Our Rating:

Bodystyle:
Class:

The Hyundai Tucson is a handsome compact crossover SUV that seats five in a stylish, roomy, and well-equipped cabin. The Tucson lives up to its sporty styling with nimble handling, but could use more powerful engines. The base 2.0-liter 4-cylinder produces 164 hp and offers only moderate performance. It is joined by a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces slightly more power and, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, provides good fuel-economy. Both engines are available with all-wheel-drive.

Changes for 2017

The Hyundai Tucson benefits from detail changes for 2017. Console-mounted rear air conditioning vents are now standard on Eco and Sport models, while the latter also benefits from upgraded door panels. Limited models are now available with a 315-watt Infinity premium audio, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
