The GMC Terrain is a muscular-looking mid-size SUV that seats five in a quiet and spacious cabin. Powered by a choice of efficient four- and six-cylinder engines with up to 264 hp mated to 6-speed automatic transmissions, the front-wheel-drive Terrain combines car-like handling with a comfortable ride and, if equipped with the optional all-wheel-drive, good all-wheather capability.
Changes for 2012
The 2012 GMC Terrain receives an upgraded audio system featuring a 7-inch display that is also used by the rear-view camera, while the 4-cylinder engine is now E85 capable. In addition, GM's IntelliLink is now available on all models, while SLT-2 V6 models offer lane departure warning and forward collision alert as an option.
The 2012 GMC Terrain SUV is available in 8 trim levels.
