The Ford Explorer benefits from various improvements across the lineup for 2019. FordPass Connect is now standard on Limited and higher trims, as is a blind spot monitor that further extends to XLT trims. The latter is also available with a new Desert Copper package that includes 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and Ebony Black interior trim. Further new standard features include power and heated door mirrors and a power liftgate on XLT models, LED fog lamps on Limited and higher trims, and the Ford Safe and Smart Package on Platinum models.
