The Chevrolet Tahoe is a tough-looking full-size SUV with seating for up to nine in a well-built cabin. Thanks to a fairly fuel-efficient 5.3-liter V8 with 355 hp mated to a 6-speed automatic, the Tahoe combines adequate power and excellent towing capability of up to 8,600 lbs. with safe handling and a composed ride. Four-wheel-drive is an option.
Changes for 2017
The 2017 Chevy Tahoe replaces the former LTZ with the Premier trim, which gets perforated, leather-trimmed heated and vented driver and passenger seats as standard. A Teen Driver restriction is now standard, as are active aero shutters in front and enhancements to Chevrolet's MyLink suite. In addition, rear seat entertainment system upgrades are available that include HDMI/MHL connector and additional USB port, as well as digital headphones and device projection.
The 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV is available in 6 trim levels.
