The Chevrolet Sonic lineup benefits from minor updates and is expanded by an RS hatchback model for 2013. Chevrolet's MyLink infotainment system featuring a seven-inch diagonal color screen, AM/FM stereo with seek-and-scan and digital clock, Bluetooth streaming audio for music and select phones, and voice recognition for compatible smartphones is now standard on LTZ and RS models and optional on others, as is a six-speaker premium audio system. Bluetooth for phone and steering-wheel controls are now standard on LS models, as is a remote starter on LT models with the automatic transmission. LT models are also available with a Connectivity & Cruise Package that includes cruise control, USB port and second auxiliary input jack, steering-wheel audio controls and Bluetooth audio streaming.
